Not to be confused with player deleveling
Every now and again, you may find yourself in a fight where you are in over your head. The game provides a number of mechanics that alter the monster's level in combat. Deleveling tactics make the monster weaker, but your experience will remain the same. Typically (but not always), when a monster has been delevelled, you will see the following:
| Monster attack power reduced by X |
| Monster defense reduced by Y |
Deleveling can affect either Monster Attack (MA) or Monster Defense (MD), but typically it will affect both. The amount of MA and MD will typically differ.
